Just announced in the federal budget on 12th May 2015, and immediately available, is a 100% tax deduction allowance for small businesses with a turnover of less than 2 million to spend up to $20,000 (per item) on purchases for your business. Art is an integral part of business presentation and operation for many businesses.

"It's a Buzz" - join us for an exhibition of new paintings by Gary Myers: captivating landscapes inspired by the constant exploration and interpretation of his surrounds. Also, some of Gary's new paintings have been created for a campaign to "SAVE THE BEES", launched by local business, HiveHaven.
Gary is helping out by donating prints and the use of images of his paintings for HiveHaven's fundraising - to get their “Bee Box” out to the marketplace.

It's on again ... Art & Music on the Deck - everyone welcome!
This month’s feature artist is Jean Paul Zilliacus.  Jean Paul’s exhibition Local People features his magnificent sculptures of several local identities you are sure to recognise from around the traps.
After her concert in the Main Hall, the fabulous Melissa Western will join local favourites, Jazzitude for a few numbers.  
Jazzitude’s line up includes Eddy Odden sax/clarinet, Alan Burge double bass, Dave Burrows guitar and 'Moss’ Carpenter on drums.

Join us On The Deck for an exhibition of "Wabi Sabi" jewellery by Noela Mills

A renowned artist in many fields, Noela Mills’ exquisite jewellery makes use of recycled, repurposed and found objects.  Her current pieces are wearable mini contemporary art installations, combining all sorts of disparate materials such as wire, aluminium, perspex and driftwood with sublimation printing.

Enjoy music by local musicians, CHILLORADO.  Refreshments available from the bar.

There will be many new artworks, specially painted for the opening, covering the Australian outback, wildlife and of course, the Maleny landscape.

"I am excited about returning to Maleny and the striking new venue in which to share my new paintings.  I look forward to chatting with you in person on the night."

"Maleny Pop Out Print Book"  a selection of favourite artworks

To coincide with the gallery’s first birthday, Gary has released his first book entitled MALENY POP OUT PRINT BOOK.  This is a wonderful coffee table book depicting 40 local scenes and it comes with a twist ... the book has been designed so the images can be removed, framed and hung on the wall to be admired by all.
